WTB less than godly staff mods
My wife and I are new enough to be trying out various caster builds in PvE, and will probably wind up building at least one staff each for most of the major caster attributes. Collector's staffs will probably be the underpinnings for most of them ...
Anyhow, I'd like to buy AFFORDABLE mods for these staffs. I have plenty of Armor +4 and Armor +5s, but still can use
Hale heads
Fortitude wrappings
Enchantment wrappings
I'd like to get by for 500 gold or so each, so I'm not expecting to get HP of more than +27 or enchantment of more than +18. But if you have mods in this price range, I will certainly pay you more than the merchant, and be appreciative to boot.
I'm also open to buying staffs with the appropriate mods and salvaging them myself.
My main IGN is Francis Crawford; the hours I play are truly erratic. Please post here or whisper me in-game if you have any interest.
Thanks!

For casters and especially monks the most sought after items are pretty much the +5 insightful staff head and the 20% enchantment staff wrapping. This makes your enchantments last longer and you have a larger pool of energy to draw from as apposed to getting fortitude and defense of mods which you don't really need. You can test it out I guess but why waste your time just get those mods. Anyway just some helpful advice goodluck.

Thanks. As an elementalist/mesmer, I just don't find that initial energy is a big problem. And running the numbers, being able to get 1/2 of a 10-energy spell off doesn't see as important as, say, increasing AL by 5 and thus reducing damage done to me by over 20%.
Enchantment duration seems likely to be more important, of course, as I make more use of certain elite spells -- but I may just go with an energy elite over, say, Mist Form anyway.

Hiya. Got one good buy out of this thread. Thanks!
Sorry, don't want to pay anything NEAR 8K. I want to build a bunch of staffs cheap and see what seems to work before considering whether to pay up for 1-3% extra capability.
Still in the market for cheap stuff.

I'm specifically now looking for Enchantment +15%. That's all I really need; I want to boost Ether Renewal from 7 seconds to 8 seconds, and anything that does that will also take Kinetic Armor from 8 seconds up to 9.
If you have a cheap wrapping of Enchantment +15% or better, please contact me in game.
My wife is also partial to staff heads and wrappings in with bonuses in the 20s.
I also wouldn't mind another Defensive Staff Head of +4.

If you're interested in a staff wrapping of +4, I have one for about 300G and a fortitude wrapping of 20 HP for about 100G
IGN Strife Kami
PM if you're interested - I know these are really, really less than godly.

If it were a head of +4 I'd be more interested. I have fewer other things to do with heads, and I have more defense wrappings than defense heads squirreled away.
The fortitude wrapping? I theory I should probalby hold out for a few more points, but my wife would probably like it as is. If I can find you in the game I'll buy it.

I have 2 lvl 20's and a lvl 18 all casters. I am sorry but I still find it very hard to make money. I have gotten my staff and wand/off hand from Fow, and Uw.

I have a Defensive Head +4. I was planning on 800, but Makaio's post pissed me off enough that you get a 50% off, and I'll part with it at 400. If you're interested, contact me.
(BTW, I also have a Wrapping of Warding +5, I can give it away for 100)
